I'm a dummy. I forgot, I did update the UEFI firmware.

Logging in to my server I received a notification to transfer my StableBit Scanner license to new hardware although this is the same computer I bought the license for originally. Hours later I logged in again to get the same notification for DrivePool. In both cases the transfer was successful, so maybe there is no problem. The only thing that has changed is I finally was able to get rid of an annoying popup from windows about a USB device malfunctioning. If it happens again, I will pay more attention to the details surrounding the incident. I guess I just wondered what could have triggered this. I am super pleased with both products and have been promoting them to everyone I think could use them. David
