  1. Hi and thanks for the response. By the time I received it I'd already resolved the issue. I noticed that on one of my pooled drives there was a folder that could not be deleted. It was full of folders created by iMovie that had very long names, which somehow prevented them from being renamed, deleted, etc.... After a lot of trial and error, trying unlocking utilities, and permissions jiggering in the folder properties (which is what worked in the end) I managed to delete the folders. Then I ran the repair disk again from Scanner, which asked me to reboot, after which the disk came up as healthy. Whether or not the issue was those folders or not I'm curious, but either way it's resolved. Best, Jonathan
  2. To add to the above... I am using Drivepool, and all of the same files on the disk mentioned above (Disk 1) are duplicated to another disk (Disk 2). Disk 2 does not show any file system issues in Scanner.
  3. Hi. I just installed the latest beta of scanner 2.5.2.3103 BETA for evaluation purposes. After the initial scan it reported this about one of my new disks, which is only a month old, "A file system on this disk is not healthy and needs to be repaired". I tried a repair but then got a notice that it failed, recommending I run chkdsk. 1) If I did run chkdsk, which parameters would make sense? /r? 2) I could return this disk to amazon (although i tossed the packaging) and simply get a new one. But I'm curious as to whether this type of error is related to a physical / manufacturing issue, or an issue with file system, and unrelated to hardware? I'd rather not go through the process of exchanging the disk if it's not faulty. Thanks, Jonathan
