  1. It seems to be working now. Thank you both for your help!
  2. I've been reading more in the forums and I think I have a better understanding now. I think I should seed the Hybrid pool using the following method: http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q4142489 Then on the Hybrid pool, choose file placement onto the Local Pool only. Choose x2 duplication on Hybrid Pool. The Hybrid Pool will be the new pool that I read/write from going forward. I've tested this on a couple of files and it seems to accomplish what I am looking to do.
  3. Thanks for your reply! I get what you are saying, and that is the behavior I am experiencing. However, I am trying to accomplish what is written in the following blog post: http://blog.covecube.com/2017/09/stablebit-drivepool-2-2-0-847-beta/ Basically: Hybrid Pool = Local Pool + Cloud Pool, with x2 duplication from Local to Cloud. This is what is explained in the above blog post. However when I create the above, there is nothing in my Hybrid pool to duplicate. How do I accomplish what is in the blog post (assuming functionality hasn't changed from 2.2.0 to 2.2.2?
  4. Pool Drive: 2.2.2.928 I've had an existing pool setup for years with x2 duplication. However, I started running out of disk space and decided to use Clouddrive to backup instead of x2 locally. I removed duplication on my original pool, shrinking it from 120TB to 60TB used / 60 TB available. The 60TB of data is showing in original pool as Unduplicated / Blue. I created a new pool, intending to add the original pool (described above) and a Cloud Drive (or pool of cloud drives). However, when I add the original pool to the new pool, I do not see the data (as unduplicated / blue). It is showing as Other / Gray, and I can not see the folders under file duplication options. Do I need to seed this new pool somehow? I read the blog posting about the hierarchical pools and followed the instructions on setting up the pools. However the new pool does not seem to be reading the data from the existing pool.

    New install issues

New user here. I installed Version 2.2.0.651 Beta a couple weeks ago (along with StableBit Scanner) on Windows 10 (64-Bit) on a brand new pc. I created my first pool with 9 drives ranging from 4TB to 6TB. 2 internal drives, and 2 mediasonic enclosures with 3 and 4 drives each (one USB 3.0 and one eSATA connection) 3 issues: 1) SB Scanner showed a damaged disk, so I clicked -Remove in Drive pool and checked force damaged drive removal. The following error occurs: "Error Removing Drive - The system cannot find the path specified" No other information is provided. 2) Since I was unable to remove the disk, I tried to update the balancing settings so that new files are not placed on this drive while I figured out how to remove the disk. Under StableBit Scanner settings (in drivepool), I chose to move both duplicated and unduplicated files out of damaged and S.M.A.R.T. warning drives. I also unchecked this drive on the File Placement tab. However, existing files are not being moved and all new files written to the pool are still going to this damaged drive. The drive has significantly less data than the other do (not sure why as the others seem to be fairly balanced), but new files are now being written here as it has the most free space. 3) I assume this is unrelated, but on 5 (of 9) drives, all data is listed as "Other" - If I assign a drive letter and look at this drives, the only folder on the drive is the pool drive. This doesn't seem to be random as the 2 internal drives plus one of the enclosures all list the data as "Other" - all 6TB drives. All drives on the other enclosure (all 4TB drives) seem to be reported properly with Duplicated/Unduplicated data. I've attached a screen shot showing the drives in my pool. (Note: Drives M.1.X are internal; N.1.x are in one enclosure; N.2.X are in the second enclosure). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
  6. Awesome! I'll get it a go. Thank you for the response.
  7. Just asking. I had been waiting to switch from Flexraid (which is also not working well with W10). I guess I'll give it a shot and see how it does. Thanks!
  8. Any updates to Windows 10 compatibility?
