  1. Hello, Currently all my folders are inside a root folder and i would like to delete the root folder so i can see the full folder list when i go the drivepool drive. This is normally quicker using cut and paste if being on same drive on windows but seems like it will take long on the drivepool drive. I know i have done this before but this was good few years ago. Can anyone please suggest a quicker method. Thanks
  2. Hi, So currently i have 1.5TB worth of data which is being duplicated hence using 3TB worth of storage. I have just purchased a USB external storage 5TB and hoping to backup the pool and the C drive of the server. Is it possible to backup the pool using windows server 2012 backup utility and only backup one copy and not duplicates hence not using up the storage? Any suggestions on how I could go about doing the backups? Thanks
  3. thanks a lot saved me big hassle, big trying this whole day.
  4. Hi, I have about 1TB on storage I would like to add to drivepool, for some reason using the windows server utility to move folder fails after 30%. I have made this drive part of the pool, is there a easier way of making storage on that drive part of the pool after which I can then remove the drive from the pool? Any advice.... Thanks
  5. Hi, Hope everyone doing well. So currently I have a windows server with the OS installed on separate hard disk. I have added 4 additional drives which are mapped on the windows server and running drive pool. I am planning to install VMware on this physical box on the separate hard drive. I will be looking to create a windows server VM and hoping to map the 4 drives and continue running drive pool. Can someone suggest how best to approach this as I have over 4TB of data which I don't want to risk corrupting. Thanks
