  1. Hi Crack, great to hear you resolved your issue with the BitLocker_PoolPartUnlockDetect change, unfortunately this change didn't have any impact on the issue that I'm experiencing.
  2. Hi Chris, no I haven't opened a ticket, thought it might have been some simple config setting I was missing, thanks for raising a ticket on my behalf.
  3. Hi Chris, yes that's right, it's got me at a complete loss, resource monitor shows nothing access the disks and when the stablebit drivepool service is stopped the disks power down after the 15 minute setting via windows HDD power options, no strange event log entries in windows? The disks aren't accessed too often so the power down ability is the preferred option, appreciate any further suggestions.
  4. Thanks for the info, I've already trawled the forum and implemented both those changes with no success?
  5. Digging up an old thread here, I have Drivepool 2.2.0.651 and Scanner 2.5.1.3062, I have 5 drives in an un-duplicated pool and none of the drives ever spin down, I have windows power mangement enabled, I can spin a drive down manually via Scanner but the drive immediately powers back up, windows resource monitor shows no processes accessing the disks. If I stop the Drivepool service the disks stay down,so it suggests its a Drivepool issue, I am also running the Ordered File Placement plugin, what am I missing?
  6. Hi, I have 2 HDD in a Drivepool (build 561) "mirrored" configuration (Pool file configuration). 1 HDD has the file system and contains some directory junctions (marked by the link arrow in windows) to other HDDs outside of the pool, these can be accessed via the pool drive letter or the actual HDD. The other HDD in the "mirror" has the folders listed but no link icon and clicking on the folders does not flow through to the folder outside HDD. If I disable the HDD in the mirror with the active directory junctions then I cannot access the links via the pool drive letter. So to summarize it appears that DP is duplicating the folder name onto both disks but not the actual directory junction link, only one, and when the disk with the active links is offline then they are not accessible either directly through the other HDD or the DP drive letter. Can anyone provide any advice?
  7. I ran the simulation mode on stablebit and one of the disks is now marked damaged and does not clear after 24 hours? Is there a way of resetting?
  8. Thanks for the info, the disks are mirrored under windows (dynamic). A 3rd disk of equal or greater size will prove insurance against data loss, this is my only "safe" option.
  9. I am installing Drivepool into an existing Win 7 system with some mirrored drives and would like some advice as to the best method to convert them to mirrored disk set under Drivepool? I was thinking of breaking the set under Windows and then having to format one of the disks and then define it under Drivepool? The risk is if the single disk fails while mirroring to the new drive data can be lost.
