  1. I had 3 drives from when I first built my server. I have slowly been replacing them and replaced 2 of these 3 remaining drives last weekend. All 3 of them were 8+ yrs old but they are no longer showing their age. It seems that Scanner has a maximum age of 7 yrs 364 days then it rolls over and begins again. I know, I know... replace your drives why would you keep such old drives. My reason? They work! Sure they were only 3TB but I added storage in open spots then got around to replacing these as needed and now I have one left that is showing an age of 26 days. lol I know not an "issue" per se but it is something that should be looked at as who knows what else it could affect. I have another drive that will be replaced over the summer that is currently showing 7 yrs 324 days. I guess I can watch it roll back to day 1 in a month. lol I took the screenshot before swapping out the drives. Larry
  2. I am going to kill the whole thing and start it again. 3 day weekend so I can take the time to transfer the files again. Took about 4 days before maybe I can do it a little quicker this time. Thanks everyone.
  3. Yes, the JBOD was created in the RocketRaid BIOS. The F and G are each showing at approx 10.8TB. If I kill the JBOD and allow Windows to discover the 4 drives won't this pretty much wipe the drives clean? If I need to start new it isn't the end of the world, just need to transfer all of the data again. What would be the best way to do this then? Clearly I messed something up. lol Thanks! Larry
  4. Yes, I created the JBOD before installing DP. How would I now go about fixing this? I am seeing why it just sees the massive "drive". Hopefully someone can let me know how to repair this. Thanks
  5. I just completed building my server and transferring all of my data to the new server. Some background on the server: Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials OS is on a RAID 1 I then have 4 3tb drives in a JBOD showing as both an F drive and G drive. F drive shows as Local Disk and G shows as DrivePool, they are exactly the same size, etc. I installed DrivePool and had not turned on duplication until I had completed transferring over about 2.5TB of data. Now I am looking to begin Folder Duplication of Photos as a start. When I do this it fails with the below error: Task Failed. Not enough physical drives in the pool to enable duplication status. Add another drive to the pool before trying to enable duplication. I have tried this on several folders and they all fail. I clearly have 4 drives, they are set as a JBOD running off a RocketRAID card. I am new to DrivePool after having a WHS v1 for 4 yrs or so. I would really like to get this setup and am not seeing what step I am missing. I want to make certain this is working on a single folder before jumping into more data. What am I missing? Could I have installed this incorrectly? Really appreciate any help. Larry
