    Windows 10 support etc

I updated my Windows 10 from 1507 (not sure of number) to 1607. Upon restart, there was a message from "Compatibility Assistant" that said "This app is no longer available. StableBit DrivePool (64 bit) was removed from your PC because it doesn't work on this version of Windows." I checked and found that DrivePool was still installed, and my pool was also intact. I'm currently running 2.2.0.651 BETA. Is there an update that I should install? Thanks

    Windows 10 support etc

Just throwing in my upgrade report, in case others were interested. Been holding out as long as possible, but I finally gave in. I was running Win 7 64-bit, with DrivePool 2.1.1.561. My drives were all mounted as folders. - I uninstalled DrivePool - Rebooted - Updated to Windows 10 - Installed the beta version of DrivePool, 2.2.0.651 - Rebooted as instructed by DrivePool setup - I did not have to re-enter my license key or reconfigure my drives. The pool was back to the way it was. - I did change the following setting as I noticed my drives being queried every few seconds http://community.covecube.com/index.php?/topic/1784-drivepool-beta-constant-disk-activity - All of my drives were powered on during the entire upgrade process. I did have one quirk, not sure if I should be concerned. - Before the upgrade, DrivePool showed my "Duplicated" status at 42.3 TB; there was no "Unduplicated" or "Other" value visible - After the upgrade, "Duplicated" was 41.0 TB, "Unduplicated" was 331 KB, and "Other" was 1.30 TB. - I ran the Remeasure function, and "Duplicated" was now back to 42.3 TB, "Unduplicated" shrunk to 304 KB, and "Other" shrunk to 6.32 GB.
  3. It works! I can see the HD serial number and the smart data. Thank you!
  4. Hi Chris, I updated to the beta build, but no SMART data still. Here is the BitFlock ID: 8U0QONX2 The four drives that I highlighted are in the enclosure Thanks again!
  5. Hi Chris, This is what I see when I select USB Below are links to what I see when click on the ellipse buttons General - Identify General - SSD Direct IO - SMART Attributes Direct IO - SMART Thresholds Direct IO - SMART Error Log I see under the Identify section, it is correctly identifying the hard drive and the serial number ---------------------------------------------------------------------- When I select "Unsafe Direct I/O", there is no change with the checkboxes ---------------------------------------------------------------------- When the "USB" checkbox is not selected, then the only item that has a green checkbox is SSD ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I did not make the UnsafeDirectIO setting change in StableBit Scanner yet. Is that what I should do, given that Scanner is able to identify the drive when USB is selected? I didn't see a similar "USB" checkbox in Scanner. Thanks so much
  6. Hi, I picked up an Icy Dock Black Vortex MB174U3S-4SB (http://www.icydock.com/goods.php?id=191/) to house four of my drives (2x Seagate 4TB, 1x HGST 4TB, 1x HGST 2TB). The enclosure is hooked up to my computer on a USB 3.0 port. My motherboard is an ASRock H97M Pro4 (http://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/H97M%20Pro4/index.us.asp) In Scanner (and Window's device manager), all the drives in this enclosure show up as "JMicron Generic DISKxx USB Device" (the xx will be 00, 01, 02 or 03), and SMART data is not available on any of the drives. Any help would be appreciated My OS: Windows 7 64-bit. My Scanner version: 2.5.1.3062
  7. I was running the trial for about a month. Not sure why it got flagged today. Scanner.Service.exe is version 2.4.0.2928, dated 6/18/2013 While I suspect it is a false positive, I just wanted to pass it along
