  1. Hi All This post is more information than asking a question. I run a Win 10 PC backup PC with 13 HDD's; randomly, DP & Scanner would report a missing disk. A Windows reboot usually fixed the problem but recently the problem has been occurring more frequently. I ran Seagate diagnostics & the HDD passed all tests. I swapped out data & power cables & tried connecting the HDD to another SATA port; problem still there. Finally, I upgraded to a larger PSU, 700W to 850W, & the problem has not reappeared since. The big difference in the 700W versus the 850W psu was the +12V line; 48A max in the 700W psu & 70.8A max in the 850W psu.
