	Hi Folks,
</p>

<p>
	I would like to move an entire cloud drive from my iDrive Paris region to one in San Jose. iDrive does provide a migration tool to move an entire S3 bucket from one region to another. I know that I have to quiesce/stop changes to the bucket during migration. I suppose that's easy enough to do just by detaching the cloud drive. But how can I then mount the cloud drive from its new location? Is it better to create a new cloud drive in a new bucket in San Jose, detach it, migrate the Paris bucket contents to the San Jose bucket, and (somehow) mount the cloud drive from metadata that now exists in San Jose? I'd much prefer to migrate rather than download from one region and re-upload to another, which I suspect will be much, much slower.

	I am setting up a new server before I decommission the old, so I installed Scanner and DrivePool on the new one.  For some reason my 30 day trial license suddenly quit working after a couple of days.  Maybe after I updated some drivers. So I bought Scanner and DrivePool for the new server. Now I am licensed for 2 machines each product.

	That is fine, but when I click on the Cloud link of either app running on my new server, it tells me "Your StableBit Cloud+ trial expires soon".  I am linked to Cloud. So apparently I have a trial subscription to Cloud+ on the new server for both Scanner and DrivePool. I go to <a href="https://stablebit.cloud/" rel="external nofollow">https://stablebit.cloud/</a> and see my old server (free Cloud) and new server (supposedly Cloud+ trial). I open the new server and it shows me Scanner and DrivePool. So far so good.  I open either one and all it shows me is a page that says "Subscribe to StableBit Cloud+ to link more devices to the cloud and to enable additional features." No dashboard, nothing.  I get the same thing with the free Cloud subscription too. Nothing except the suggestion to subscribe to Cloud+.  Am I supposed to see anything else? What am I doing wrong?

	On the Disk list pane in the Drive Pool main window, there are little pointy markers, light blue and dark blue, on each of the drive items where the used / duplicated / unduplicated "line" displays. What do these show? I've not been able to find anything about them in the docs. They don't line up with the usage indications on the "line" and I can't figure out their purpose.  My pool drive has several, but not all folders, duplicated.<br />

	Drivepool has served me well for over 10 years.  Unfortunately, I'm moving over to Unraid. Nothing to do with Drivepool itself; it works fantastic.  I just can't get Snapraid to work in conjunction with it, and I need that extra layer of backup.  So my question is, I do need to evacuate off of the Drivepool one drive at a time, and I don't have enough room to empty a drive, remove it, and then go to the next drive.  I was wondering if it was possible to move files directly off of a particular drive's poolpart folder instead?  Will it cause Drivepool to freak out in any way?

	about a year ago, google changed their storage policy. I had exceeded what was then the unlimited storage by about 12 tb. I immediately started evacuating it. I only got it down 10 gig from 16, and google suspended me with read only mode. it can delete, but it cannot write.
</p>

	I have continued to download the drive. it is now down to about 7 tb so far as the pool drive is concerned, but unless drive pool has a mode to 'bad map' and delete the sector files from the drive pool, I am still at 12 tb and way over its capacity. 
</p>

<p>
	I do appreciate that cloud drive is discontinuing google drive, but I still have some time, but I need to delete as much from the google path as possible, and I can't do that without being able to write back to it, which I cannot do.
</p>

<p>
	'delete bad/read only but empty' would be a big help.
</p>

	Fired up my server this morning only to be told that Drivepool and Scanner are not licensed and I cannot create new folders which means I am blocked from doing what I need to do. There seems to be no guidance on how to deal with this or how long this will last and I'm tearing my hair out as I thought that Stablebit Cloud was supposed to improve DrivePool and Scanner, but instead, it seems to have locked me out of products that I have licensed. You can be sure I won't be renewing my subscription to Cloud and I'll start looking for alternatives to Drivepool and Scanner.

	Then I realized that the information this guy gave me was wrong.<br />
	now i have to spend hundreds of euros again and try again for days so i can recover my files.<br />
	wake up guys my files are jammed by this stablebit and it takes a lot of money and effort to access them.

	So its about that time and I have two options im weighing as far as a new pc goes.  1) use macrium to restore a system image to the new pc (which would likely make this post moot for the most part) or 2) start fresh.<br />

	I'm leaning towards 2 which means I have to back up important settings like the way I have drivepool/scanner configured.<br />
	<br />
	Are these things stored in %localappdata%?  Is it is simple as placing the backed up files from the current pc in the proper location on the new pc then installing the suite?<br />
	<br />
	I know settings are saved in stablebit cloud which I pay for but things get janky as I intend to migrate my current pc into a secondary pc role.<br />
	<br />
	stablebit cloud seems to identify the pc based on its host-name and I intend (at some point) in the process of setting up the new one, to give it the hostname of the pc its replacing, and then change the hostname on that one to something different. <br />
	<br />
	Just trying to feel out what the safest way forward is.  unsure if these things are stored in the registry, or several locations etc but this is something I want to be 100% on before i get my hands dirty. <br />

	I just purchased two licenses to CloudDrive a few days ago. I installed the product on only one system initially. Today I reinstalled Windows on that system, but I neglected to first disable the license on that system. After reinstalling Windows, I installed cloud drive again and activated it. Apparently, this installed my second license.
</p>

<p>
	I am now attempting to install on my laptop (this would be my second machine), however, it won't allow me to activate this copy. Is there some way that I can deactivate one of my licenses so that the second installation can be successfully activated? Many products have some sort of self-help online to allow deactivating licenses, but I see nothing like that here.

	Our business provides IT support to small businesses. Mostly we follow the managed services model where clients pay a fixed monthly for ongoing service. We now require both workstation and server cloud backup. I started years ago with CrashPlan and still have clients using it for real time backup. I've been using Backblaze for several years for all workstation backups. I discovered CrashPlan when it was just a software company that could backup between locations. I found Backblaze when I was researching hard drive reliability and came across their reports. 
</p>

<p>
	I've been using StableBit DrivePool and Scanner since the WHS2011 days to provide redundant JBOD storage. I'm very happy I found this pair of products - I think running them is superior to NAS offerings such as Synology and QNAP. Our clients who use NAS products have not had as good results storage wise as we have using the StableBit suite. It's very comforting to know the drives are being checked - it's easy to swap them out when problems develop. 
</p>

<p>
	I've also supported DriveHQ and JungleDisk for clients. Now we have Office 365 OneDrive and GoogleDrive. Most of our clients like to operate from a "virtual drive" with a drive letter. It's familiar and makes use simple. I haven't had great results mapping to OneDrive.  We ran into issues with linked spreadsheets in Excel on JungleDisk. DriveHQ had issues with file locking. We also use products ourselves first to find out what works and doesn't. 
</p>

<p>
	I just setup StableBit Cloud and signed up for BackBlaze B2 and created a 10GB drive to get started. I will be testing the drive to see how it works as a business drive. <strong>I'm curious if any forum members have used it this way.</strong> My current use of StableBit DrivePool and Scanner has been for storing my personal media. I suspect that is how people are looking at StableBit Cloud, I will be testing how streaming works from it. Our connection is fiber 500 up/down and could be increased to 1000 for not much more monthly cost.
