A few problems I have

Spoonsy1480

Question

I’m upgrading my system with a new motherboard, m.2 ssd and new hard drive to add to the 3 I already have, I have drivepool already running, but on 2 of the drives I have some directory that I can not delete so I was going to add the new drive transfer the files from 1 disk onto it, take out old drive re-format drive and re-install and do the same for the other one, can this be done?

and secondly if I re install windows as I have made a few mistakes in the past setting things up should I re install drivepool at the same time I upgrade motherboard or should I do it stages?

Well, for the folders you can't delete, try this:
http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q5510455

it's for the whole pool, but it also works for specific folders, as well.

And I'd recommend using the trial period until you're sure everything is stable.  The trial is reset on a new installation of Windows, so you should be fine.
