partitioning a pool

Question

This may have already been touched somewhere in here.
I wanted to know if it was possible to create a pool and then partition it in such a way that all partitions display the collective space. The reason for this is minimizing the requirement to direct programs to a folder in the new pool. I coudl use "net use" or "subst" but i just wanted to check if there was any other options.

No.

For one, there is no "partitioning" with DrivePool.  It's an emulated drive.  So there is no way to separate it up.

Additionally, each drive can only be part of a SINGLE pool.  You can't add the same disk to multiple pools.  This is to prevent some extreme complexity that could arise from such a config.

I know you want to avoid using folder paths, but honestly, that's the best bet.
