Does DrivePool use any kind of verification when creating duplicates?

It uses the Windows API to copy the file over to the drive. This does, in theory some checking.

If you want additional checking (which to be blunt, generally, isn't needed), you can turn on the "DrivePool_VerifyAfterCopy" value in the advanced config file, which adds an additional check when balancing or duplicating files.

However, there is a slight performance penalty for doing so, and if there are a lot of files, this can be compounded severely.
