You need 1 for each

Yes and no.

It's more complicated than that.

Hello,

I have 2 pcs in my network where i installed stablebit cloud drive.

Im using only one pc at the time.

So my question is: do i need 2 licenses for this 2 pcs or would it be ok to buy only 1 and activate this 2 pcs?

thanks

If you plan on running drives on both systems, at the same time, then yes, you absolutely need 2 licenses (one for each system).

However, if you only plan on using one system at a time, then you are fine with buying just a single license and moving it back and forth.

There is no technical reason that prevents you from transferring the license back and forth. But if you're doing this a lot, then it may be simpler to purchase a second license.

And any license after the first is only $15, rather than full price.  So two licenses would be $49.95, as opposed to $34.95 for just one.

Thanks for the answer.

Im looking forward to buy 2 licenses so i dont have to transfer it all the time.

Good price model by the way.

Im going to buy the licenses after stablebit cloud drive becomes a rc or a final release and the providers i need are stable and daily usable.

Is it correct that i dont need a serial during the beta because after 30 days i can get a new trial key?

regards

you're very welcome.

And yeah, we want the licenses to be reasonably priced, and almost "impulse buy" priced.

And yeah, when there is a new beta version out, when you install it, it will reset the trial period.

But keep in mind, that if you purchase a license now, it will be $5 cheaper (at least for the first license). Once there is a release version, we won't have a pre release discount on the license.
