prevent existing drive attachment to different google account

wikke

Question

Using Google Drive, I had to reauthorize. I accidentally authorized to a different google account that was logged in at that moment.

That basically damaged the drive because after reauthorizing with the correct google account, I was no longer able to upload because there were now missing pieces.

Would it be possible to implement a check so this can't happen?

regards

Exactly. The reauthorizing prompt is shown at the account that just happens to be logged in at that moment. And CloudDrive will happily continue uploading, even though there's perhaps no files at all yet and it is creating a completely new folder to upload to

To be clear: in the browser it will show the currently logged in Google account name. I guess I was caught unaware - because it's not very apparent.

So: there's no check being done by CloudDrive to see if the cloud drive is attaching to the right account..
