Which cheap provider is best supported?

Google Drive. They have a well documented API, the provider is pretty reliable and it's currently supported. 

 

 

And yeah, S3 is pretty expensive if you want to store a lot of data. And Glacier has a 4+ hour wait time to access any data (so we can't even verify the upload), so it's unsuitable for StableBit CloudDrive.

 

As for S3 compatible service providers, we do plan on adding support for them. But that will be after we hit RC (release candidate) stages, as we want to get a working, stable version out first.
